Visitation of the Virgin Mary Basilica

A Roman Catholic Basilica from the year 1777 (in the year 1999 it was raised by Pope John Paul II to basilica minor) is an important Marian pilgrimage destination. Under the church there is a crypt, where the pilgrims of Tovač are buried. In the year 1713 they drowned when the Ostravice flooded. It is possible to have an excursion between services.
